About the role
Platform engineering for computer-use agents in healthcare operations: build the infrastructure that lets agents work reliably across the messy reality of EMRs, portals, faxes, and PDFs — browser and desktop automation, state management, retries, and the observability to debug agent decisions.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain core agent infrastructure: browser/desktop automation, tool use, state, retry logic
- Design evaluation and observability systems for agent performance and regressions
- Productionize better approaches to planning, execution, memory, validation, recovery
- Own backend systems and durable workflow orchestration across a TypeScript monorepo
- Turn recurring deployment pain into reusable platform capabilities with forward-deployed engineers
- Create clean abstractions so agents operate safely across fragmented healthcare systems
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering with deep TypeScript backend expertise
- Production-grade infrastructure experience in fast-moving environments
- Comfort at the intersection of AI agents and systems engineering
Nice to have
- Computer-use agents or browser automation
- Workflow orchestration (e.g. Temporal)
