About the role
You would build the pipelines, services, and infrastructure behind the way top AI labs work with audio data. The engineering team is small and close, the company is growing unusually fast and already serves most of the largest tech companies, and you would work across all three of its products: a platform for the people who record audio, tools for lab researchers, and internal tooling.
What you'll do
- Create backend services and data pipelines that connect the company's three products and grow with them
- Design infrastructure that keeps costs and performance in check as usage rises quickly
- Work across all three products: the contributor platform, internal tools, and tools for researchers
- Partner with researchers to evolve the data collection infrastructure
- Architect and maintain APIs and services used by thousands of people daily
What they're looking for
- At least 2 years building backends, with solid Python and TypeScript
- Time at fast-growing, venture-backed startups, not only large or legacy companies
- A solid computer science degree from one of the leading US programs, or an equivalent
- Zero-to-one projects you owned that had measurable business impact
- Hands-on production work on data pipelines and systems built to scale
