About the role
Think of the company as a data business that happens to live in healthcare. You would be responsible for the data models and pipelines on a very small but high-leverage data team that supports a much larger engineering organization, building the foundation that customer reporting and upcoming ML and AI features depend on. Expect to take messy, complicated data models and make them reliable and scalable, alongside engineers, product managers, and operations.
What you'll do
- Grow the company's data modeling discipline and build the core models and pipelines behind customer reporting
- Tidy and extend the current data stack to handle bigger, more complicated enterprise integrations
- Partner with product and operations teams to learn what data they need and deliver numbers they can trust
- Work through complicated production data with engineers and keep Metabase dashboards correct and available
- Prepare the data for upcoming machine learning features by raising quality, governance, and reliability standards
What they're looking for
- 4+ years in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or data engineering
- Hands-on data modeling and pipeline work with Python and a cloud warehouse such as Snowflake
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to quantify the impact of your work
- High-growth startup experience, with a bias for speed and ownership
