About the role
Analytics here directly shapes efficiency, how well the product scales, and how the business makes operational decisions. As a Data Analyst you would run the analysis and build the data-driven tools that product, engineering, and company leaders rely on, and some of the data models you build go straight to customers. You would also own the BI and reporting stack so numbers stay accurate and easy to reach.
What you'll do
- Deliver analysis, dashboards, and visualizations for a wide range of stakeholders and use cases
- Produce the insights leadership uses to set business strategy
- Build self-serve internal tools and workflows that make teams faster and more independent
- Develop dependable, scalable data models that form part of what customers receive
- Run the BI and reporting tools (Metabase) so data stays trustworthy and easy to get to
What they're looking for
- A bachelor's in a quantitative field such as math, engineering, or the sciences (library science counts too)
- 4+ years of large-scale data work spanning analysis, ETL pipelines, and automating processes
- 3+ years using cloud warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery in practice
- Advanced SQL, proven on messy, complex datasets
- A clear communicator who can make complicated analysis simple, in writing and in conversation
- Comfort with ambiguity and a feel for the ways different teams use data
Nice to have
- Familiarity with dbt, Python, Terraform, Metabase, or BigQuery on GCP
