About the role
You would focus on front-end polish, micro-interactions, and information architecture, refining the platform's core flows and building out designs with close attention to craft. Day to day, that means building refined, detail-heavy UI and reviewing designs together, while working directly with the CEO, the product team, and front-end engineers to roll a recent rebrand out across every product surface. The company is small, growing quickly, and assembling its founding team in New York, and this role could grow into owning design.
What you'll do
- Refine the platform's core flows and raise the level of visual detail
- Implement designs in React and TypeScript with close attention to craft
- Shape information architecture and micro-interactions across the product
- Roll out the recent rebrand consistently across every product surface
- Take part in regular design critiques alongside the CEO, product team, and front-end engineers
What they're looking for
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a design engineer or detail-focused front-end engineer
- Strong React and TypeScript, plus fluency in Figma
- A keen eye for visual detail, interaction design, and information architecture
