Embed with government customers — including elite military units — for an AI lab modernizing how America and its allies acquire technology. Recently selected for one of the largest AI initiatives in US defense: gather requirements on-site, translate mission problems into software, and ship fast. The most customer-facing of the company's engineering tracks; the engineering bar stays high.
What you'll do
- Embed forward at military installations, gathering requirements directly from operators
- Build the full-stack data tools and workflows operators use daily
- Translate ambiguous mission-critical problems into shipped software in tight loops
- Represent the company in the room; build trust with operators
- Ship across Python, Next.js, and React, building AI agents and LLM workflows
- Travel 1-2 weeks per month to customer sites

- 2-8 years as a deeply technical full-stack builder
- Exceptional communication — equally comfortable with operators and engineers
- US work authorization suited to government environments
