About the role
A forward deployed role on a five-person team building a cloud platform for internal AI agents, used by large consumer brands, major banks, and government agencies. Early engineers here get a lot of ownership, helping shape platform primitives like evals, observability, and sandboxes while pairing with customers as required to get their deployments right. The work is full stack but leans about 70/30 toward the backend.
What you'll do
- Take on broad problems and own them from architecture choices to working code
- Build the foundational pieces agents need in deployment, such as sandboxes, benchmarks, evals, and observability
- Work across a Python backend and a TypeScript/Next.js frontend, with most of your time on the backend
- Work hands-on with customer teams when needed to scope their needs and land solutions
- Anticipate what the platform needs next and lead the improvements

- Python and TypeScript/Next.js skills, with React on the frontend
- Familiarity with AWS, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks
