About the role
As a forward deployed engineer, you would personally take multimodal AI agents live for large clients, owning each deployment from scoping to launch and acting as the person senior client leaders rely on. You would still write code every day: tuning agents, integrating models, and prototyping quickly with AI-assisted tools. The role suits someone who enjoys both the engineering and the relationship side of helping enterprises adopt AI.
What you'll do
- Lead client deployments from initial scoping through launch as the main technical contact
- Build trust with client executives, align on priorities, and help them expand their use of AI
- Design and refine claims agents through prompt work, model integration, and rapid prototyping
- Scope and build new features that help customers scale and get better claim outcomes
- Connect the product to each client's systems and APIs in close partnership with their engineers
- Share field insights with the platform engineers so delivery runs smoothly and the product improves
- Document what works in playbooks so the forward deployed team can scale
What they're looking for
- 1 to 5 years in a technical, customer-facing engineering role
- Strong engineering fundamentals, with Python as your main language
- Excellent communication and comfort building relationships with client stakeholders
- A history of taking projects from start to finish
- Ability to write code quickly in live client settings
