About the role

You would own the technical side of deploying software for national security missions, working inside government networks and turning what operators and analysts need into software that actually ships. The company supports every U.S. service branch, several combatant commands, the intelligence community, and partner nations, and has been profitable for several years. The role covers both inexpensive pre-sales pilots and full deployments after a contract is signed, with hands-on backend work on large text, media, and geospatial datasets.

What you'll do

  • Field and support production software on DoD and other government IT networks, from first requirements through delivery
  • Be the go-to technical partner for operators, intelligence analysts, and the people who own each mission
  • Design inexpensive pilot projects with government teams during pre-sales, then lead complete rollouts once a contract is signed
  • Write backend code, usually in Python, that handles large geospatial, text, and multimedia datasets for customer missions
  • Handle security requirements like RMF, IdAM, SIEM, and cross-domain solutions while partnering with platform engineering, design, and product

What they're looking for

  • A current U.S. Top Secret clearance and eligibility for SCI; exceptional engineers who can obtain one may be considered
  • At least 4 years building full-stack software, with a strong backend foundation (Python preferred)
  • Hands-on experience shipping software onto DoD or other government networks under RMF and related controls
  • Comfort running a field-facing project on your own from start to finish without close supervision
  • U.S. citizenship; fully remote within the country, traveling 20 to 30% of the time to classified and customer locations
