About the role
This role connects the finance challenges healthcare customers face with the AI built to solve them. Analytics engineers bring the data in and encode each customer's business rules; you would build on top of that, owning the context that agents draw on for each customer, predictive models and agents built for each account, and the repeated refinement that gets customers to act on the results. It suits someone whose title a few years back would have been data scientist and who has built applied AI ever since. The work is in Python, using internal agent frameworks and evaluation tools, on-site in New York.
What you'll do
- Deploy agents and machine learning models configured for each customer on top of the current agent platform
- Keep each customer's context accurate and current for both custom and platform-wide agents
- Check outputs with test harnesses and evals so agents and models are reliable enough for customers to trust
- Refine findings and how they are presented, alongside customer-value colleagues, until customers change what they do
- Define problems with frontline users and walk finance and operations executives through the solutions
- Create dashboards and visual analyses that answer targeted healthcare finance questions
What they're looking for
- 3 to 10 years of experience, with a data science background and a record of shipping applied AI
- Strong Python, with experience in Spark, Snowflake, Git, and CI/CD
- Experience building agents or ML models and validating them with evals
- Comfort working directly with customers and presenting to finance and operations leaders
- Availability to work on-site in New York
