About the role
You would own how new AI agent deployments get started and scoped at some of the largest manufacturers and public-sector organizations. That means running the first discovery conversations, defining what to solve, making the ROI case, and passing signed pilots to the forward deployed engineers. It is a founding-team seat where applied AI meets the physical economy, on a very small team working in person in San Francisco. The role suits someone with 1 to 5 years of experience, typically at the pre-MBA level.
What you'll do
- Run early conversations with prospective manufacturers, uncovering their pain points and defining what the platform could fix
- Build quick demos on the platform with AI coding tools to show prospects what is possible
- Make the ROI case to prospects and current accounts, turning it into new pilots and expansions
- Keep deployments on track across the customer's IT, purchasing, and planning groups with the engineering team
- Support expansions at current customers by defining new workflows and sizing their financial return
What they're looking for
- Pre-MBA experience at an MBB strategy consulting firm, with rigorous problem structuring and strong enterprise stakeholder management
- Direct client work in manufacturing, industrials, defense, or supply chain, including real time on site rather than only slides
- Executive presence: comfortable in the room with plant operators and C-suite leaders alike
- Fluency with AI assistants and coding tools, enough to build demos and automate your own work
- Based in San Francisco or relocating, in person every weekday, with 15 to 30% travel to Europe and Asia
