About the role
You would be engineer number three at a fast-growing startup building AI-powered core software for the multi-trillion-dollar electronic parts supply chain. Reporting to the CTO, you would own whole product streams from your first days and create the data foundation behind pricing insights for some of the largest distributors in the industry. Much of the work means taming live data pulled out of aging ERP installations and learning a traditional industry from the people who run it.
What you'll do
- Harden pipelines that pull live data out of decades-old ERP systems at customers with $100M+ in yearly revenue
- Take charge of a full product area, talking to customers and shipping features, within about two weeks of starting
- Roll out and tailor ingestion tooling for each customer's file types, ERP, and integration setup
- Spend real time with non-technical industry veterans to understand the business and pin down requirements
- Help build AI agents and LLM-based ingestion once the core data layer is solid
What they're looking for
- 1 to 5 years of engineering experience
- Solid working proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Experience building reliable data pipelines on messy, real-world inputs
- Comfort owning a product area and working directly with customers early on
