About the role
You would join a small enterprise AI company as a founding engineer and build systems that keep large companies' spending in line with what they negotiated. The founders were early leaders at a well-known procurement software company, and the problems are difficult data challenges at Fortune 500 scale: messy data, high volume, and savings that land directly on the bottom line. It is deeply technical enterprise work rather than consumer AI, and a strong training ground for anyone planning to start a company later.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver features across the whole stack as one of the first engineers
- Tackle large-scale data problems, reconciling negotiated terms with actual payments across messy datasets
- Weigh in on strategic technical and product calls that set where the company goes
- Work with Fortune 500 customers in consumer goods, retail, and healthcare to understand and solve their problems
- Contribute to the AI and LLM systems that generate large savings for customers
What they're looking for
- Anywhere from new graduate to about 8 years of software engineering experience
- Full-stack skills in Python, TypeScript, and React
