About the role
This is a product-minded, backend-leaning role on the tools customers use to understand the audio data behind their models. You would work closely with the ML research team on how data is gathered and processed at very large scale, and ship improvements to users daily. Clear communication matters as much as code, and the pace is that of a fast, research-driven startup.
What you'll do
- Lead full-stack feature work, spending roughly 60 to 70% of your time on the backend
- Grow systems that analyze terabytes of audio and surface insights customers can use
- Partner with ML researchers to improve how training data is gathered and used
- Ship and assess features built on LLMs and signal processing that clarify customers' data
- Coach fellow engineers and help define engineering standards during growth
