About the role

A player-coach leadership role: manage and grow a team of full-stack data scientists building the fraud-detection models behind a widely used identity-risk platform. You'd be the technical leader and mentor for a domain with high visibility — and stay hands-on across the full model lifecycle.

What you'll do

Manage a team of 2-3 data scientists, growing it to 5-6
Mentor deeply and technically — dive into the work, probe understanding, raise the bar
Lead planning, resourcing, and communication with senior leadership, product, and engineering
Own fraud models end to end: data acquisition, featurization, labeling strategy, training, productionization, monitoring
Research emerging fraud patterns and shape new identity-verification products
Write production-ready code used for real-time decisions by partner institutions
