JD — the work
About the role
You would be one of the first engineers turning the lab's LLM agent research into real, usable products and tools for developers. The work covers everything from SDKs and web interfaces to APIs and the data layer underneath, and centers on the harness that runs the agent, including the agent's memory. The role mixes systems thinking and product engineering, and you would work alongside researchers, UX research, and platform engineers on what ships next.
What you'll do
- Ship production-grade applications and developer tooling, from web apps to SDKs, APIs, and shared libraries
- Carry features from first prototype through launch, then keep iterating on what users tell you
- Turn fresh research results into reliable features and clean abstractions that developers can build on
- Build and experiment on the agent harness, including how agents store and use memory
- Help design system architecture that scales as adoption climbs
- Hold a high bar on tests, docs, CI/CD, and release practices
What they're looking for
- 2 to 7 years of software engineering experience, ideally shipping products end to end
- Full-stack skills in Python and TypeScript, with React, Next.js, and FastAPI
- Experience building APIs, SDKs, or developer tools that others rely on
- Comfort with AWS or GCP and CI/CD pipelines
- Interest in LLM agents and in turning research into usable products
