About the role
This is a hands-on full-stack role rebuilding how distributors get paid, working on systems that move large sums every day, connect to complex ERPs, and use LLMs to handle credit, collections and cash application. You would own features from the first customer signal to spec, launch and measuring impact, on a compact team of individual contributors at the same level who pair when stuck and review code carefully. The team is AI-native: coding agents do much of the implementation while engineers decide what to build, make judgment calls and are accountable for results.
What you'll do
- Build payment processing that handles heavy volume, plus secure APIs for financial data
- Connect the product tightly to widely used ERP systems like Acumatica, Sage and NetSuite
- Create LLM workflows for dispute handling, matching remittances, customer messaging and credit decisions
- Run real-time data pipelines over very large volumes of financial records
- Automate A/R and collections in ways that directly improve customers' cash flow
- Put evals, monitoring and guardrails in place so AI features behave safely for customers
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of engineering, owning the whole stack yourself, including UI, server, data model and tests
- Strong spec writing and a talent for splitting problems into small, well-defined tasks
- Daily use of AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and a push for better team conventions
- Enjoy talking with users on calls and in support threads, not just working from tickets
- Ownership that continues after release, including fixing whatever is broken for customers
