JD — the work

About the role

This early-career role takes on QA, product research, and documentation work that is currently spread across the technical PM and solutions engineering teams, so the company can ship quality work faster. You would become the go-to expert on every accounting platform, ERP, and field tool the company integrates with, reading deeply into their APIs and docs. It suits a curious, somewhat technical generalist who loves details, and it is focused on execution, with a possible path to Product Manager.

What you'll do

  • Learn every integrated system in depth by working through its APIs and documentation
  • Turn feature requests, enhancements, and bugs into precise specs engineers can build from
  • Plan and run detailed QA before each release so edge cases surface early
  • Mine support tickets, customer call recordings, and onboarding sessions for pain points worth specifying
  • Keep internal documentation current on how each integration behaves, its quirks, and how to test it

What they're looking for

  • 0 to 2 years of professional experience
  • Enough technical grounding to read API documentation and work with REST APIs comfortably
  • Strong attention to detail and genuine enjoyment of digging into specifics
  • Clear writing, since specs and documentation are central to the job
