About the role
Engineers here build the platform largely from scratch, working across the full stack on an AI product for investment firms. In a normal week you might create a pipeline that makes long investment memos instantly searchable, build an interface that lets analysts trace an AI answer back to its source, or ship a bespoke agent flow based on something a customer mentioned that morning. You would be among the company's first engineers, with high ownership and very fast iteration.
What you'll do
- Create interfaces that investors come to rely on every day
- Build APIs that plug the platform into Excel, chat assistants and customers' own custom workflows
- Create ingestion that pulls PDFs, spreadsheets, email and structured sources into one knowledge layer behind every product
- Speak with customers yourself and turn what they tell you into shipped fixes within days
- Uphold strict security, privacy and reliability standards when handling sensitive investment data
- Build thorough eval sets that keep LLM systems reliable
What they're looking for
- 1 to 10 years of experience shipping full-stack products, ideally React and TypeScript with Python or Node
- Experience designing large-scale APIs and data models, with real care for schema design
- Enthusiasm for turning LLMs into dependable production products, not just calling APIs
- Pride in engineering craft, a habit of refining how you work, and willingness to lift the team's quality bar
- A desire to join early, with high ownership and fast iteration
Nice to have
- Exposure to finance or fintech, though curious fast learners will be taught the domain
