JD — the work
About the role
You would inherit the product from the CEO at a small, quickly growing AI company in healthcare billing, arriving after the hardest ambiguity has been worked out, so the focus is on executing and shipping. The job is heavily customer-facing: you would partner closely with major hospital networks, talk with engineers every day, and have wide autonomy. It suits an early-career, technically curious person with an appetite for risk who wants to start a company someday.
What you'll do
- Drive the roadmap for current enterprise accounts, spanning core infrastructure, per-customer deployments and fresh use cases
- Sit with hospital revenue teams to map how they handle insurers, collect requirements, and spot the biggest wins
- Scope and deliver agent workflows alongside engineers, covering browser automation, voice AI phone calls and system integrations
- Own customer relationships, from routine check-ins to on-site visits about once a quarter, turning needs into priorities
- Get up to speed fast on the underlying infrastructure and agent architecture, using AI tools to learn
What they're looking for
- 1 to 3 years of experience, early enough in your career to be learning fast
- Technical curiosity and willingness to dig into infrastructure and AI agent systems
- Comfort owning outcomes with full autonomy and taking on risk
- Confidence working face to face with large hospital customers
- Founder ambitions: you see this role as training for starting your own company
