About the role
You would lead new zero-to-one AI products at a profitable, fast-growing startup that helps physicians start and run independent practices, on a platform spanning medicine and law. The role covers strategy and roadmap as well as hands-on prototyping with engineers and designers using retrieval, agents, and foundation models. You would also get close to operations, tightening processes and closing the loop between customers and the internal team. The role is hybrid in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Take new AI products from the first framing of a problem to launch and ongoing improvement
- Set product strategy and the roadmap, making clear tradeoffs amid ambiguity and fast growth
- Prototype quickly with engineers and designers using retrieval, agents, and foundation models
- Shape workflows where people review, escalate, or override AI output when needed
- Define how quality, model accuracy, safety, reliability, and business results get measured
- Get hands-on in operations, refine processes, and keep customer and internal feedback flowing
- Build the operating cadence and metrics needed to scale what works, using data and qualitative input to prioritize
What they're looking for
- 4 to 9+ years working as a product manager, including zero-to-one launches, ideally of AI systems
- Comfort moving quickly when things are ambiguous and growing fast
- Strong empathy for customers and an instinct to act quickly
