JD — the work
About the role
You would be the first product manager for the company's enterprise finance suite, readying the platform for companies with headcounts in the thousands. The work is 0-to-1: accounting integrations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense management, all aimed at winning enterprise customers. The role splits roughly evenly between product and design ownership. Expect an in-person startup pace in San Francisco, with long days and real ownership.
What you'll do
- Own the enterprise finance roadmap, starting with accounting integrations like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, and Xero
- Make the product credible for enterprise controllers who need to evaluate and adopt it
- Join enterprise sales on customer conversations to gather input, rank features, and clear blockers on big deals
- Set priorities for the engineering team and ship improvements quickly, working with them daily
- Design intuitive flows for complex finance work, prototyping with AI coding tools such as Cursor and Replit
- Shape a crisp product strategy from what you learn through prospects, industry events, and market research
What they're looking for
- 5 to 9 years in product management, preferably in fintech or accounting and finance software
- Real, hands-on work on accounting, payables and receivables, or ERP integrations, beyond tangential exposure
- Strong design sense for intuitive UI and UX in complicated finance workflows
- Fluency with AI-assisted building (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit) and with Notion, Linear, and Figma
- High agency and a 0-to-1 mindset, suited to an in-person startup with long hours
