About the role
You would be the technical lead in the deals that matter most: showing what the product can do at scale, designing the solution to each customer's problem, running proofs of concept, and fielding the tough technical questions a buying decision hinges on. The role blends engineering credibility with commercial instinct and reports to the head of revenue. It suits a builder who writes real code and uses the newest AI tooling daily, not a demo specialist, and it is fully in-office every weekday.
What you'll do
- Lead discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept for every serious evaluation
- Work in the product live with prospects to show exactly how it fits their use case
- Handle deep technical questions, deciding when engineering needs to step in
- Write technical proposals and proof-of-concept builds that turn interest into signed contracts
- Act as prospects' go-to technical advisor, relaying what you hear to the engineering and product teams
- Work hand in hand with sales colleagues to close deals and meet shared goals
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of technical, customer-facing work, ideally selling a developer tool or API
- A hands-on builder who writes production code, ideally with public repos to show
- Current, hands-on use of agents, LLM APIs, and new AI tooling in your daily work
- Ability to speak to both engineers and business buyers without losing either
- Energy from customer conversations and ownership of your part in a deal's result
- Comfort operating without a fully built sales playbook
