About the role
You would join a small engineering team building AI-driven money-management software for the senior care industry, working alongside the CTO and helping define the product and how engineering works. The platform already processes a large annual payment volume for senior living providers, and you would own initiatives from an unclear problem through to production on your own. The best fit has worked in fintech or healthtech, enjoys early-stage speed, and takes data integrity seriously. The role is hybrid in New York or San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Scope ambiguous problems, split them into deliverable pieces, and ship them to production yourself
- Make architecture and design decisions that set the platform's direction
- Develop React and Node.js features behind billing, payment collection, claims, and automated revenue work
- Partner with product managers and non-technical teammates to model complicated business workflows in software
- Apply automation and AI tools to make the product AI-native from the start

- 4 to 12 years of full-stack software engineering
- Strong React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL skills
- Independent ownership of features from scoping through production
