About the role
You would own mobile engineering at a Series A, mission-led fintech building financial products for immigrant families across the US, with a large and fast-growing Latino customer base. As the most senior mobile engineer on a close team of about 40, you would partner with the founders and engineering leads, drive technical decisions, and take real ownership, with equity that stands to benefit from an upcoming Series B. The company is growing quickly month over month.
What you'll do
- Take over mobile engineering as its own function, separate from the web frontend team, and lead it
- Ship new React Native features for iOS and Android, working with backend engineers, designers, and product
- Set the mobile architecture, tools, and workflows that let the team move quickly while keeping quality high
- Lead across the engineering org by managing stakeholders, pitching ideas, and moving the company forward
What they're looking for
- 4 to 8 years of experience, with deep mobile engineering expertise
- Strong React Native experience shipping to both iOS and Android
- Comfort with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
