JD — the work
About the role
You would be accountable for customer results in core parts of a voice AI agent platform, such as how agents behave, onboarding, testing tools, and automation. The work touches live audio, phone-system workflows, and tools for developers, at a startup scaling very quickly with a lean, high-ownership team. You would decide direction, priorities, and how success is measured, anchored in genuine customer problems and revenue impact.
What you'll do
- Own direction and success metrics for core areas like agent behavior, onboarding, and testing
- Learn customers deeply: read call transcripts, sit in on onboarding and support sessions, and talk with users directly
- Write crisp PRDs that lay out the customer problem, requirements, the end-to-end journey, and a recommended solution
- Work with engineering on scalable designs, trading off customer value, speed to impact, and long-run platform health
- Learn from sales, CX, and success teams what drives purchases, stalls rollouts, and fuels expansion
- Plan, sequence, and track initiatives so delivery is on time and ownership is clear
- Test ideas with customers early via prototypes, betas, and quick iterations before committing major investment
What they're looking for
- 5+ years as a product manager on B2B, product-led growth products
- Proven ownership of product results from start to finish at fast-moving startups
- Comfort in ambiguous, technical domains like live audio, telephony, and developer platforms
- History of launches that moved adoption and revenue in measurable ways
Nice to have
- Experience with AI products, especially voice AI
