About the role
A senior engineering role on a fast-moving team whose platform takes the manual labor out of getting healthcare providers paid by insurers. You would own large parts of the product and infrastructure from design through production, building complex services and scaling them in a huge and badly broken corner of healthcare administration. The company grows quickly, works from its hub offices four days a week, and tends to hire engineers who have thrived at high-growth startups.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and run complex services and features across the stack in Python, TypeScript, React, and Postgres on GCP
- Carry each feature yourself, from system design to release to keeping it healthy in production
- Spot and lead scaling and infrastructure work as enterprise customers drive rapid platform growth
- Partner with PMs, designers, and other teams to turn what customers need into dependable technical solutions
- Help raise the engineering bar by mentoring teammates, running live coding interviews, and shaping team practices
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of software engineering, ideally including time at fast-growing startups
- Solid computer science fundamentals and deep technical problem-solving ability
- At ease anywhere in the stack, from backend services and databases to React
- Able to write production code fluently on your own, without depending on AI tools
