About the role
Companies are deploying AI agents and service accounts faster than their identity tooling can handle, and this team builds AI-native security to keep up. You would build solutions for customers spanning the full stack, talk directly with security staff and engineers at large enterprises and startups, and own problems rather than just tickets. The team values careful engineering over speed for its own sake, and people from very different backgrounds argue through tradeoffs openly. The role is based in San Francisco, with on-site or remote options.
What you'll do
- Take important product areas from idea to launch, building across the frontend and backend
- Drive architecture choices and design systems that keep up with company growth
- Validate solutions directly with customers by understanding their real environments
- Write code others build on and establish patterns that speed up the team
- Spread what you know so teammates grow, and influence how engineering works
- Question requirements and propose better approaches instead of following specs
What they're looking for
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript and Go
- End-to-end builder who can go from a customer's problem to a shipped full-stack solution
- Creative, questioning mindset that cares about why something is being built
