About the role
This backend-focused engineer will help design, build, and maintain the systems behind a growing creator marketplace where brands hire creators to make content. It is an early-career role, open to people with up to two years of experience, on an in-person New York team. It suits someone who enjoys solving problems with teammates and wants to build systems that scale as the platform evolves.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain dependable backend systems in TypeScript and PostgreSQL
- Work with other teams to bring new technology into the product smoothly
- Program and debug the web backend that powers the marketplace
- Implement scalable solutions that improve the marketplace platform
- Take part in every stage of building software, from design through release
