About the role
Join a tiny, well-funded seed-stage team whose agents plan and run AI research with very little human input. As a backend-leaning generalist, you would write the production Python behind the company's commercial research agent, which demanding enterprise customers in finance already use to improve their own models. Expect to own problems from first design to live deployment, working side by side with researchers in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Build and run the backend services behind the company's autonomous research agent product
- Write clean, production-grade Python that makes the agent's self-improvement loop faster and more capable
- Partner with the research team on agentic experiment search and model post-training
- Strengthen monitoring, speed, and the underlying ML tooling for agents deployed with customers
- Take problems from first sketch to production as a true startup generalist
