About the role
You would join a small engineering team working side by side with the founders on a marketplace that moves physical vehicles and equipment around the US. The team cares intensely about user experience and ships whole products, so you would help steer product strategy as well as build the systems behind transactions, payments, financing, and logistics. The role is on-site in New York.
What you'll do
- Own the central systems behind the marketplace and the flow of each transaction
- Automate complex workflows covering financing, compliance, logistics, and payments
- Design services, data models, and APIs for moving physical assets reliably at volume
- Collaborate with the product and ops teams to release quickly without sacrificing reliability
- Work with the founders to shape product strategy for the marketplace
What they're looking for
- 3 to 6 years of software engineering experience, ideally on full-stack product work
- Strong skills with TypeScript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL
- Deep care for user experience and ownership of products from idea to launch
