JD — the work
About the role
This is a foundational growth engineering seat. You would create the sales tooling, data pipelines, and AI workflows that give a sales team real leverage, with the aim of making each account executive many times more productive. The role is full stack and rewards creative thinking about how to find every buyer and seller in a fragmented industry. The company runs a venture-backed marketplace for used emergency vehicles plus surplus equipment, and the team works on-site in New York.
What you'll do
- Build pipelines that turn scattered, messy industry data into qualified leads covering every prospect
- Ship sales tooling for lead routing, sequencing, outbound automation, and deal rooms
- Use LLMs to pull signals out of unstructured sources such as PDFs, call recordings, and legacy systems
- Create background agents that keep compounding the sales team's edge over time
What they're looking for
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full stack
- Comfort with a TypeScript, Node, Next.js, and PostgreSQL stack
- Creative problem-solving and interest in applying AI to messy real-world data
- Drive to build foundational systems at an early, fast-moving company
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
