About the role
You would join a handful of engineers at a localization startup that recently closed its Series A, building the SDKs, APIs, and open-source libraries that well-known fast-growing tech companies rely on to ship in many languages. The work tilts toward infra and tooling for developers, and a large share of it touches the AI and ML workflows behind the translation engine. Expect high ownership, a quick pace, real ambiguity, and direct influence on the roadmap, on-site in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across the SDKs, APIs, and open-source libraries, mostly in TypeScript
- Join daily standups to sort urgent bugs and customer asks, then return to the area you own
- Weigh customer feature requests with engineering leadership and the CEO, and help set the roadmap
- Write pull requests and review your peers' work, keeping code quality high throughout the codebase
- Develop AI-driven translation workflows and the localization systems that sit behind them

- Exceptional TypeScript skills and comfort moving across the full stack
