About the role
You would create the underlying platform the growth team uses to source, vet, onboard, and keep domain experts engaged, then match them to projects. It is not a typical growth engineering job: you own whole systems, covering outreach tools, an AI interviewer, and automated matching of experts to projects, with a lot of autonomy. Over time the role extends to ML-based recommendations that forecast which expert profiles a project will need before it launches.
What you'll do
- Own the expert marketplace stack: outreach, AI-led interviews, assessments, and onboarding tools
- Develop the system that manages experts and assigns them to projects according to skills and availability
- Replace the growth team's manual processes with internal tooling that multiplies throughput
- Work side by side with growth associates, finding funnel bottlenecks, adding instrumentation, and shipping fast improvements
- Eventually develop ML models that anticipate staffing needs for upcoming projects
What they're looking for
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Backend and infrastructure skills across Node, Python, TypeScript, and AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Kubernetes
- Comfort with high autonomy and owning systems end to end
