About the role
You would own internal tooling plus the integration layer behind a radiology service powered by the company's own AI, as a strong, self-directed engineer who leans backend but works across the stack. The company is a team of about five tackling a serious shortage of radiologists that leads to misdiagnosis, so your impact starts on day one. The team wants someone who grew up in a demanding engineering organization and has a clear sense of what high-quality engineering looks like.
What you'll do
- Build internal apps for business analytics, routing cases to radiologists, and peer review, the tools that let the company scale
- Run the integrations that link the platform with customer PACS, RIS, and EHR systems over DICOM and HL7
- Join customer onboardings to learn their setups and deliver tailored integrations
- Find manual steps and bottlenecks across product and operations and automate them
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, strongest on the backend yet able to work anywhere in the stack
- Ability to work independently in a fast, early-stage setting without heavy management
- Background in a rigorous engineering organization and a clear bar for quality
- Experience with TypeScript, React, and REST APIs
