About the role
A pre-sales role working alongside account executives on technical engagements with large multinational companies. You would connect the company's tax automation platform to each prospect's needs, designing and delivering solutions to complex indirect tax compliance problems, and get to know its APIs inside out. It suits someone who enjoys both customer-facing demos and detailed integration conversations. The role is hybrid in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Work with account executives on discovery, scoping, and designing the right solution for large prospects
- Run tailored demos and technical walkthroughs for prospects and current clients
- Guide integration discussions, identify gaps against requirements, and map out implementation steps
- Become an expert in the company's APIs for tax ID validation, tax calculation, returns, data sharing, and e-invoicing
- Help customers with technical questions and pass deals smoothly to the implementation team
- Bring product feedback from the field back to the product team
What they're looking for
- 4+ years in solutions engineering or a similar technical, customer-facing role
- Comfort with REST APIs, integration design, and gap analysis
- Strong demo, presentation, and discovery skills with enterprise buyers
