About the role
The company's agent platform already handles millions of customer conversations each month for major consumer brands, and it is now moving into marketing, sales, and top-of-funnel automation. You would join a small innovation team that researches new agent patterns and models, builds knowledge-graph-powered agents for personalized recommendations, and takes them to production. Expect roughly 60% of your time on research and development and 40% on shipping. The role is fully remote, and only candidates living in Canada can be considered.
What you'll do
- Assess new agent architectures, foundation models, and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain for marketing automation
- Turn messy sources like product catalogs and web pages into knowledge graphs that power personalized cross-sell and upsell
- Connect agents to enterprise customer data platforms, analytics suites, and MarTech tools so they decide better
- Build eval systems for production agents, using LLM judges, tracing, and root-cause analysis of weak performance
- Spot opportunities on your own and propose new platform capabilities as fresh models and tools appear
What they're looking for
- 5 to 7+ years in applied ML, NLP, or data science; data science and ML backgrounds favored
- 3+ years applying ML to marketing problems such as lead scoring, personalization, or journey analytics
- Real project work with agent frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain
- Experience with enterprise marketing data platforms or comparable MarTech tools
- Located in Canada and comfortable working independently in a fast, ambiguous startup setting
