JD — the work
About the role
You would own the company's agent product strategy, starting with an AI-driven business intelligence product and extending across the portfolio. The role moves between founder-level strategy and building agents side by side with engineers, and roughly a third to half of your time goes to customer calls. The culture is flat and lean with very little process, founders still do individual-contributor work, and product people are expected to prototype with AI coding tools. The role is on-site in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Set the vision and roadmap for agent products, then drive discovery and delivery
- Spend 30 to 50 percent of your time with customers and bring their voice back to the team
- Work with the CEO, CTO, CRO, and engineers so the roadmap serves revenue targets and technical reality
- Prioritize hard across pricing, market sizing, spec writing, and shipping
- Take the product beyond restaurants into healthcare, retail, and other sectors, spotting reusable patterns
- Prototype and unblock with AI coding agents, and write your own code whenever that speeds the team up
- Set the standard for how the agents make decisions, take action, and win customers' confidence
What they're looking for
- 5 to 10+ years as a product manager
- Scaled an agent-based or AI product from early users to substantial revenue at a fast-growing startup
- Proven impact on usage, retention, and revenue metrics
- Comfortable moving between founder-level strategy and hands-on building with engineers
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a company founder
- Experience expanding a vertical product into multiple industries
