About the role
You would help lead account delivery at a small startup that recently raised its Series A and builds reinforcement learning environments for training frontier models on finance and broader knowledge work. Working directly with researchers at leading AI labs, you would shape how the next wave of agents learns real finance tasks. The role blends delivery ownership, product management, client relationships, and financial planning, and it is fully in person in San Francisco, five days a week.
What you'll do
- Run day-to-day delivery for lab customers, keeping environment quality high and managing contractors and experiments
- Serve as one of the product leads, forming opinions and co-owning the roadmap with engineering
- Own customer relationships: pin down what each lab needs, set clear expectations, and ensure the work meets the bar
- Create the processes, docs, and quality checks that let the team turn projects around quickly
- Help with pricing, revenue forecasts, and deciding which projects make economic sense
What they're looking for
- About 2 years in hedge funds, private equity, banking, or top-tier consulting, with deep command of your past work
- Startup exposure, whether an ops role at an early company, several startup internships, or a company of your own
- Experience producing polished, high-stakes client deliverables
- A self-starter record, such as entrepreneurial side projects or something you built independently
- Active use of AI coding tools like Cursor or Codex, with examples of what you built and why
- Willingness to work in person in San Francisco five days a week
